Training for Children’s Home Workers – Opportunities for Collaboration in Basic and Specialized Care – May 24, 2023

At the end of May, we hosted our third training day at the welcoming Docler Holding headquarters. This session focused on enhancing collaboration between basic and specialized care, bringing together professionals from various children’s homes across the country. The day began with an engaging workshop led by Mariann Hornyák, who facilitated small group discussions before merging into a larger group to share experiences within the childcare system.

Following Mariann’s workshop, Dr. Szilvia Gyurkó delivered an insightful presentation on current issues in the care system, highlighting the characteristics and distinctions between basic and specialized care. Her informative talk offered many intriguing insights and international examples that even seasoned professionals found enlightening.

After lunch, we encouraged participants to take part in hands-on activities. The afternoon continued with a dynamic roundtable discussion centered on sharing best practices. The diverse group included professionals from both basic care and foster homes, encouraging a vibrant dialogue where numerous professional perspectives were discussed.

We hope that this spirit of active communication and experience-sharing will carry on in future training sessions. We eagerly anticipate welcoming interested participants at our upcoming summer and autumn training events!
