A BRIDGE TO HIGHER EDUCATION – SCHOLARSHIP TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT 2022

The Gattyán Foundation, founded by businessman György Gattyán, announces a tender invitation for young people living in children’s homes, who have graduated and intend to continue their studies, for further education in undergraduate education or higher vocational education, at Kodolányi János University.

Within the framework of the scholarship program, 10 young people selected for the trainings starting in September 2022 will have the opportunity to continue their studies at the higher education vocational training of the János Kodolányi University, the costs of which are funded by the Gattyán Foundation.

 

Deadline for submission of applications: February 5, 2022.

We believe that the acquired knowledge, which can never be taken away, can significantly contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of young people, to the achievement of a fuller life!

Within the framework of the scholarship program, 10 young people selected for the trainings starting in September 2021 will have the opportunity to continue their studies at the higher education vocational training of the János Kodolányi University, the costs of which are funded by the Gattyán Foundation.

 

The condition for the application is a high school diploma and at least 240 statutory minimum points.

Deadline for submission of applications: June 30, 2021.

COMPLETED TENDER PROGRAMS

The Gattyán Foundation announced a scholarship program for young people living in children’s home, who have completed their high school diploma and intend to continue their studies in higher vocational education at the Kodolányi János University.

As part of the scholarship program, 4 selected young people were given the opportunity to pursue their studies at the Kodolányi János University in higher vocational education courses starting in September 2021 in business and management, television program producer, and tourism and catering, the costs of which will be funded by Gattyán Foundation.

We believe that the knowledge we have acquired, which can never be taken away, can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life of young people and achieving a fuller life, so we wish our first-year scholarship students a lot of success and a productive academic year.

The primary goal of the program is to provide children living in children’s homes with everyday sports opportunities, which contributes to the education of children and their educators for a healthy lifestyle, community building and talent development.

Deadline for submission of applications: October 4, 2019.

Brief summary of the tender invitation:

The goal of the Gattyán Foundation is to provide complex, age-specific sports opportunities for the children’s home (institution providing resident children with specialized child protection care), correctional institution or its maintainer, may it be maintained by the state, a church or a non-governmental organization.

–The Foundation will deliver 1 Teqball table to the applicant meeting the conditions of the Call and will install it at the location indicated in the application.

Within the framework of the cooperation, the applicant organizations undertake the followings:

–By implementing their project, they contribute to the improvement of the sports competencies of the recipients of child protection care, to learning, to the development of useful leisure time.

Results of the tender program:

For the winning applicant Institutions, the Foundation supplied and installed Teqball tables in an aggregate value exceeding HUF 4,000,000, which provide hundreds of children in need of home care with opportunities for daily exercise, community building and a healthy lifestyle education.

PROFESSIONAL RESEARCH

The Foundation’s approach is that the basis for effective assistance is professional foundation. To facilitate this, within the framework of a national survey conducted in the years of 2020 and 2021, the Foundation mapped the educational participation of children living in children’s homes, their current education, their further study plans and their vision related to learning and work.
