In addition to the fact that our Foundation mainly focuses on supporting disadvantaged children living in state care, we also support families as communities and places of life by introducing donations granted to large families. We consider it important that the children living in the family feel as little as possible about the social problems that afflict the families, as the increasingly difficult life does not allow much financial leeway for the rural parents. To alleviate this, we wanted to take some of the burden off parents’ shoulders during the Christmas period by donating durable food and toys.
We went to Gerjen, a small village in Tolna County, where we visited three families in need and handed over gifts, which were received with great love by children and parents alike.
