Smile program
Our Foundation places great emphasis not only on providing professional support but also on enriching the lives of children in foster care through meaningful experiences. Quality leisure activities play a key role in helping these children integrate into mainstream society. We believe it is crucial that they have access to the same diverse entertainment and
recreational opportunities as their peers. Additionally, learning social and cultural norms is essential for their future success.
To achieve these goals, we offer programs designed not only to bring joy to the children but also to provide indirect learning through new experiences and stimuli. In addition to organizing our own events, we also implement projects where social workers collaborate with the children to choose activities. While the Foundation provides the resources, the ideas and execution come from a partnership between the children and the professionals who support them. This process strengthens trust between children and adults while reinforcing community bonds within the children’s homes—both essential for children who have experienced trauma.
