Schooling Support for Disadvantaged Children – May 2023

At the end of May, we returned to Geszt to continue our cherished tradition of supporting disadvantaged children as they embark on their educational journeys. As part of this

initiative, our foundation proudly provides schoolbags to the soon-to-be first-grade students of the local school. This year, we had the added joy of participating in another beloved local tradition: the school’s farewell ceremony for graduating students, which also welcomed the new “recruits.” In this close-knit village of 800 residents, we were treated to a truly intimate celebration, where each class took the time to honor the 8th-grade graduates individually. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and pride, culminating in a symbolic welcome for the future first-graders into the school community.

We hope that the thoughtfully curated school supply packages from our foundation filled the children with excitement and anticipation for their new school adventure.
