Movie Experience Day – April 2025

Following last year’s great success, we organized our Movie Experience Day event once again, this time aimed at young people aged 12 and above. Since they were unable to participate in the Carnival event, we wanted to treat them to an exciting program during the spring break.

The event took place at our now well-established venue, Lurdy Ház in Budapest, which conveniently offers both event space and a cinema in the same location. We were delighted to see even more registrations than last year: a total of 320 participants arrived from 24 child protection and children’s home centers for a full day of fun and entertainment.

Given the age group, the morning program included a wide variety of games and activities such as a racing simulator, foosball table, rodeo bull, punching machine, and VR simulator. In addition, throughout the entire day, participants could take fun group photos in front of a themed photo wall and receive printed copies as keepsakes.

The morning concluded with a delicious lunch, after which participants simply walked over to the adjacent cinema, where the concession staff awaited them with popcorn-and-drink combos. As in previous years, the children could choose between two films: one screening featured the new Captain America movie, while the other showed The Amateur.

Thankfully, this year’s all-day event was once again a great success, bringing plenty of joy to the young people who attended.
