Experience Grant 2024

One of our most successful initiatives last year was the Experience Grant, which provided children in state care with the opportunity to enjoy high-quality vacations, on par with those of their more fortunate peers. Since the beginning of this year, institutions have eagerly inquired about the possibility of applying again. They were thrilled when the call for applications was announced in May. As expected, we received a wide range of diverse and enriching program ideas, making the selection process both exciting and challenging.

This year, we are proud to support a total of six institutions in bringing their summer plans to life, each receiving a grant of 2,000,000 HUF.

The winning proposals from five rural and one Budapest-based child protection centers include exploring domestic regions, seaside vacations, and even a trip to Transylvania. We are excited to help create lasting memories for many children in state care through these vacations. Witnessing these moments brings us great joy, and we plan to personally visit some of the camps held in Hungary this year.
