Excursion to Aquaworld Waterpark – September 2022

At our foundation, we are always seeking new partnerships to expand the type of support we offer to children in state care. We recognize the challenges these institutions face in organizing exciting and enriching leisure activities, which is why we were pleased to collaborate with Aquaworld Waterpark to provide a special experience for these children.

Through this partnership, we arranged for five institutions from rural areas to enjoy a full day at the waterpark. Each institution was able to send 10 children and 2 chaperones, with the Gattyán Foundation covering all expenses, including entry tickets and meals for the day.

Aquaworld Waterpark, with its expansive 4,000 square meters of water attractions, offers the perfect escape for both children and adults. The park features a tropical Angkor Wat-themed temple, 17 indoor and outdoor adventure and swimming pools, diving experiences, water-walking balls, and 11 unique slides, ensuring fun for visitors of all ages.

So far, groups from four counties, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom-Esztergom, and Bács-Kiskun, have participated in the excursion. Their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with reports and photos reflecting the children’s delight and enthusiasm. It was heartwarming to see that they thoroughly enjoyed their time, spending a joyful and carefree day at the waterpark.
