Education
The Foundation’s goal is to provide meaningful, long-term support to children in specialized care, as well as to the professionals working with them. A key component of our educational efforts is the research study conducted in 2020, which closely examined the educational circumstances of young people in children’s homes. In addition, the practical insights gained from regular face-to-face meetings and professional consultations play a crucial role in shaping our educational initiatives. We maintain ongoing communication with the leaders and staff of these institutions, whose feedback and perspectives provide invaluable guidance for our work.
We aim to provide comprehensive support across a variety of areas through our educational programs. As part of this effort, we offer learning opportunities that address knowledge gaps arising from the children’s socio-cultural backgrounds, including environmental education, drug prevention, and sexual education. To further promote equal opportunities, we also provide scholarships that support the pursuit of quality education for young people in state care.
It has become increasingly clear in recent years that prioritizing the training and professional development of those working in this field is essential. To support this, we have created a specialized workshop where social workers can enhance their skills and gain practical knowledge to assist them in their daily work. We offer these training programs nationwide, ensuring that as many professionals as possible can take advantage of these free development opportunities.
In addition to supporting young people in foster care, we are also committed to the education of disadvantaged children living with their families. As part of this effort, we regularly assist schools, after-school programs, and kindergartens with underprivileged children. We believe in promoting systemic change, which is why we focus on donations to institutions and organizations, rather than individuals. This approach ensures that our support is aligned with long-term needs and effectively serves the best interests of the children.
