Carnival – February 2024

In early February, we hosted our Carnival event again. Since December is the busiest time for children’s homes, we decided to postpone our Christmas celebration and transform it into a festive Carnival gathering. This change was warmly welcomed by the institutions, as it gave the children a special program to look forward to at the start of the year.

To make this event truly enjoyable for the nearly 350 participants, we filled the day with a variety of entertainment options. This year, the venue was Izgiland Playhouse in Törökbálint, which offered plenty of activities for younger children. Along with a wide selection of games, the event featured face painting, glitter tattoo artists, and balloon twisters. Costumed characters, fun skill games, and a lively clown show added to the excitement as well. A photo booth was also available, allowing everyone to take home a fun keepsake from the day.

In keeping with Carnival tradition, we held a costume contest where every participant in costume received a prize. The most creative costumes earned special rewards, while others received sweets. To wrap up the day, the children enjoyed a doughnut feast, with several delicious varieties to choose from.

Feedback from the event showed us that we achieved our goal, as both children and their accompanying adults had a joyful and memorable experience. According to their comments, the day was filled with fun and cherished moments.
