Teqball Sports Program – 2024

One of the key pillars of our foundation’s work is our Teqball Sports Program, which we are excited to continue this year.

Over the past few years, we have donated nearly 100 Teqball tables to children’s homes across the country, with the goal of promoting sports and encouraging regular use of these facilities. Currently, professional coaches hold weekly training sessions in children’s homes in Budapest, Bicske, Kecskemét, and Dunavecse. Through these efforts, we are making strides toward our long-term goal of encouraging the most interested children to join local Teqball clubs, where they can further develop their skills.

To inspire regular participation in training sessions, we also organize competitions, such as the CHildren’s Homes National Cups. These events are designed to be both competitive and fun, incorporating a variety of activities alongside the matches. This year, we are thrilled to be planning two such events, which are growing increasingly popular among the children.

For young people with a strong competitive spirit, we offer opportunities to participate in professional tournaments organized by the Hungarian Teqball Association. We also support their registration in official Teqball clubs, and we are proud to see children raised in children’s homes achieving podium finishes in various championships.

The video below captures different training sessions at the aforementioned locations, highlighting the children’s enthusiasm for Teqball. We regularly receive feedback from caregivers, noting that children spend up to 5-6 hours playing outdoors when the weather

is nice. Training with coaches has significantly boosted their motivation and the number of positive experiences they gain through sports.

We hope that this enthusiasm will continue to reach more children, providing them with the many benefits that regular sports participation brings!
