Visiting Children’s Homes – Vas County Child Protection Center

In August, we visited one of the institutions within the Vas County Child Protection Center and Primary School to deliver our latest donation. The leadership of the children’s homes expressed a desire to focus on the younger children this time, deciding to create a much-needed playground for them. The Gólyafészek Children’s Home in Gencsapáti currently houses 24 children between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as 12 infants and 3 mothers with their babies. While the home is situated in a beautiful, peaceful area with a spacious yard, it had previously lacked any playground facilities. Recognizing the value this would bring to the children, we were more than happy to fulfill their request. Our foundation donated a two-position swing set, complete with a nest swing, a climbing frame, and a Polyball funnel ball game—providing a fun and engaging outdoor environment for the children to enjoy.

It warmed our hearts to witness the children’s excitement as they eagerly began using the new playground equipment. We hope this donation continues to bring them countless moments of happiness and joy in the years to come.
