European Teqball Tour with Ronaldinho – Children’s Homes Visit – Budapest – October 2022

As part of the prestigious European Teqball Tour, Budapest hosted a four-day competition in early October. This was the most significant Teqball tournament in Hungary to date, attracting considerable international attention. The finals were held on Sunday, which drew a large and enthusiastic audience. The excitement peaked with the appearance of Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho, who attended as the star guest on the final day of the competition.

Through the support of our foundation, approximately 250 children from children’s homes across the country were given the opportunity to attend this remarkable event. Groups traveled from various regions to the Riz Levente Sports and Event Center, where the event was held. Each child received a baseball cap featuring the foundation’s logo and a snack pack at registration, before taking their seats to enjoy the day’s events. The Hungarian Teqball Federation also had special surprises waiting for them at the venue.

The finals were held in front of a full house, and the high-level competition created an electric atmosphere that left a lasting impression on the children. One of the most eagerly awaited events of the day was the much-anticipated gala match featuring Ronaldinho, which had the audience, especially the children, at the edge of their seats. Ronaldinho also had the honor of presenting the trophies to the tournament winners, offering fans several opportunities to see the football icon up close. According to feedback, the children returned home with a unique and unforgettable experience. We hope that this day serves as an inspiration for many to engage in regular Teqball practice and continue their journey in the sport.
