Garden tender

This summer, our Foundation is trying to help children’s homes to spend their holidays in a more meaningful way. After our Experience Competition, we launched the Garden Competition to encourage the institutions to spend time together outdoors. The aim of this competition was to promote the active use and beautification of the gardens of children’s homes, with the involvement of the children living there. Cultivating a garden can both help children to feel more connected to the community and to the environment. Within the framework of this call for proposals, the institutions could apply for a grant of 200 000 HUF, which they can use at their discretion to cultivate the gardens at their disposal.
