Support for Disadvantaged Children – Bogáncsvirág Learning Center, November 2024

Last year, we had the pleasure of visiting the Bogáncsvirág Learning Center in Veszprém County, where we supported their incredible work with a donation. This fall, they reached out to us once again, seeking additional support as they continue to operate with limited resources but unwavering dedication. Located in the small town of Berhida, the learning center focuses on the development of local disadvantaged children, providing them with a nurturing environment. We were delighted to fulfill their request and delivered various donations including items for physical activities, as well as non-perishable food supplies to support their daily nutrition. Each child receives a substantial snack after lessons at the center, which is a vital resource for families facing financial hardship.

During our visit, the children surprised us with a heartwarming performance of songs, poetry, and dance. Following the performance, we shared a snack with them, and they eagerly spoke about their experiences at the center. It was clear how much this reliable and welcoming space means to them. With regular support for their studies, the children have shown noticeable academic improvement. Beyond academics, the center prioritizes shared leisure activities and strives to provide the children with as many opportunities as possible to broaden their horizons throughout the year. It is inspiring to see the positive impact the Bogáncsvirág Learning Center has on these young lives, and we are proud to support their mission.
