Regional Teqball Tournament and Sports Day for Children’s Homes – Bicske – September 2025

For the second time, the Kossuth Zsuzsanna Children’s Home in Bicske hosted the autumn Regional Teqball Cup and Sports Day for children’s homes.

The fantastic venue and beautiful weather ensured that the children were in for a wonderful day. Children and their chaperones from seven rural institutions arrived for the one-day sports event, which—as tradition dictates—began with registration and the distribution of gift packages.

Professional animators led a shared warm-up session, after which the children were divided into groups and began collecting individual points. Throughout the day, participants could test their skills in various sports challenges, and in the afternoon they had the opportunity to enter a doubles Teqball tournament.

We were delighted that 16 pairs joined the competition, allowing the long-standing tradition of Teqball tournaments to continue. The contest drew great interest, and thanks in part to the enthusiastic cheering, a pair from Bicske claimed first place.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony announcing the winners of the point-based challenges, followed by the traditional raffle draw.

Overall, we spent a fantastic day together with nearly 70 children—on what was perhaps the last summer-like weekend of 2025.
