Regional Teqball Cup for Children’s Homes – September 2024

The first Teqball event after the start of school was held in the vibrant city of Szolnok. The Regional Children’s Homes Teqball Cups continue to be a big hit among children in state care, bringing the joy of this dynamic sport right to their doorstep.

This marked the first regional event in the Szolnok area, and we were thrilled with the strong interest it had. As always, the participating children were greeted with welcome gift packages upon arrival. The day kicked off with an energetic group warm-up, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead. This was followed by practice sessions at three Teqball tables, each featuring a unique activity.

At one table, participants played traditional Teqball. At another, they had the opportunity to try Teqvoly (volleyball played on a Teqball table). At the third table, children completed skill-based challenges with the assistance of professional trainers.

After a productive morning of practice, everyone came together to share a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, participants could choose to compete in either a Teqball or Teqvoly tournament. Separate competitions were organized for each sport, and an additional skill-based challenge table offered the chance to win special prizes for the fastest and most “teqniquely” talented players.

No event would be complete without our much-loved raffle, and this one didn’t disappoint. Every child left with a surprise gift, ensuring smiles all around. By the end of the day, participants returned home happy and exhausted, carrying both memories of the day and their well-deserved prizes.

But the excitement doesn’t end here! We’re already gearing up for more regional and national Teqball events, and we can’t wait to share them with you soon.
