Regional Teqball and Sports Day – Hajdúszoboszló

For the third year in a row, we organized our Regional Teqball and Sports Day in Hajdúszoboszló. For this one-day event, we welcomed children from the region’s children’s homes who were eager to participate in a fun and active day dedicated to sports.

Children and their chaperones arrived from six different towns. After a shared warm-up session, participants were divided into teams.

Throughout the day, teams could earn points by completing playful activities, allowing younger and older children alike—as well as both boys and girls—to contribute to their team’s overall success. We were especially pleased to see several educators join in the games, helping ensure that nearly everyone was drawn into movement and participation.

Of course, the traditional Teqball competition was also part of the program, as many children have been preparing for these tournaments for three or even four years. In the doubles category, participants could enter pairings voluntarily, helping create an authentic competition atmosphere during the sports day.

After a shared lunch and additional afternoon games, we concluded the event with our usual awards ceremony, followed by the always-popular raffle draw. Everyone went home with plenty of gifts and wonderful experiences, meaning the event fully achieved its goal.
