Donating Teqball Tables – October 2024

This October, we were delighted to donate another Teqball table, this time to a school in Budapest. The director of BKSzC Újbudai Vocational School and Training Center reached out to our Foundation, requesting support to introduce this dynamic sport to their students. The school provides education for nearly 400 students with special educational needs, most of whom have mild intellectual disabilities. Additionally, there is a growing number of students facing psychological challenges. Many of these young people, aged 15 to 25, come from disadvantaged backgrounds, which is why the school is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment. Inspired by a sports event where they discovered Teqball, the school’s physical education teachers sought to make this sport part of their students’ lives.

We were thrilled to fulfill their request and personally delivered the Teqball table at the end of October. The excited students eagerly helped set it up and immediately began playing. During their first practice session, they learned the rules and techniques of Teqball, and we also extended an invitation for them to participate in our upcoming Teqball tournament in Budapest.

We hope this donation will serve the school well and become a favorite activity among the students, encouraging even more young people to embrace the joy of sports and physical activity!
