Christmas Gifts – December 2024

Every year, our Foundation strives to spread joy during the Christmas season by gifting all 28 child protection institutions with which we maintain regular contact. Our goal is always to provide gifts that are both practical and meaningful, bringing happiness to both children and adults.

We understand that the end of the year is a busy and demanding time for these institutions, so we aim to avoid adding to their workload with additional events before the holidays. Staying true to this approach, we are continuing our tradition with a twist: under the motto “Carnival as the new Christmas!” we will host a grand carnival event in February, inviting all institutions to join the celebration.

This year also marks the beginning of a new tradition that we hope will become a cherished part of our holiday program. Since our small team cannot visit every institution before the holidays, we’ve decided to introduce a yearly lottery to select two institutions, one from the countryside and one from Budapest, to receive special Christmas donations worth 2,000,000 HUF each.

The first lucky recipients of this new initiative are:

– Gyöngyház Integrated Social and Child Protection Center – Békés County

– Bokréta Residential Home, Children’s Home Center, and Primary School – Budapest

While these two institutions are this year’s winners, we wanted to ensure that every children’s home feels appreciated. To that end, all 28 institutions will receive shopping vouchers worth 200,000 HUF:

– 100,000 HUF for Media Markt

– 100,000 HUF for Tesco
