5th National Teqball Cup for Children’s Homes – March 2025
2025. March 31.
On the last weekend of March, we organized our first nationwide Teqball event of the year.
As in previous years, children and their chaperones arrived from several counties across the country to take part in the two-day event. This weekend, however, differed slightly from previous editions: in addition to the Teqball competition, we also hosted a full sports day. Throughout the weekend, the children could collect points at 18 activity stations, which included tasks such as paper-airplane folding, jump rope challenges, Activity, relay races, and various Teqball skill challenges.
Of the seventy participating children, many also entered Sunday’s doubles Teqball competition. More than 50 competitors aimed to earn the title of best doubles team. During Sunday’s finals, we crowned new winners from Dunavecse, and once again, a girl was among the members of the top three teams. This clearly shows how much potential lies in these children, especially those who have been practicing regularly for years.
The weekend’s fun games and competition were complemented by an off-site climbing activity and a pizza dinner, both of which added extra excitement to the experience.
Our goal for the rest of the year is to offer many more sports programs to young people eager to stay active. We hope to meet just as many enthusiastic participants at our upcoming events!
