National Inter-Children’s Home Teqball Tournament and Sports Day – November 2025
2025. November 30.
For many years now, it has been a tradition that one stop of the national teqball cup and sports day organized among children’s homes takes place toward the end of the year. This year, nearly eighty children and accompanying staff arrived from more than ten institutions across the country to spend two dynamic days together.
The first day was all about the excitement of arrival, getting to know one another, and shared sporting activities. With the help of sports animators, the children could prepare for the teqball tournament held the following day or immerse themselves in the sports challenge point hunt that ran throughout the entire weekend. By the end of the day, everyone had relaxed, and the shared dinner and optional movie night further enhanced the great atmosphere and created unforgettable memories.
Many participants had been waiting for the second day for half a year: once again, they could prove themselves at the teqball tables. Some arrived as experienced competitors, while others stood there for the first time in their lives to test their skills against their peers—but enthusiasm was something they all shared. The high-quality, emotionally charged matches ultimately concluded with the victory of a newly formed Kisújszállás–Dunavecse pair, who teamed up that very morning.
Following the final, we also announced the winners of the two-day points competition, and then crowned the weekend with an exciting raffle draw. The shared laughter, determination, and experiences once again forged the participants into a true community.
We are grateful to the caregivers for making it possible for the children to take part. We hope to continue this wonderful tradition at the same place next year!
