Girls’ Club for Children’s Homes 2025

This year, we launched our Girls’ Club for Children’s Homes program, through which we regularly organize group sessions for girls living in children’s homes—providing them with both valuable information and enjoyable experiences. During these sessions, we place special emphasis on topics such as healthy self-image, self-awareness, balanced body perception, personal hygiene, and more conscious everyday habits.

The fourth session took place during the summer break, so we held the program outdoors in nature. The setting fit perfectly with the day’s topic, as we welcomed Barbara Horváth, a cosmetician and practitioner of intuitive connective tissue touch therapy, who is a dedicated advocate of natural “healing” methods. Because many girls were away at summer camps, this session was smaller than usual, but this turned out to be an advantage—allowing for a more intimate and personal experience.

Barbara introduced the group to the importance of touch, the respect for personal boundaries, and honoring one’s own body. The girls first practiced the “healing” touch techniques on themselves, then on each other. The calm atmosphere and opportunity for quiet self-reflection clearly did them good, and they were open and receptive to the new knowledge.

After the session, we took advantage of the summer weather and shared a cheerful outdoor snack in Városmajor Park, where we were able to have a truly meaningful conversation with the girls.
