Minibus Grant Program 2025

This year, for the first time, our Foundation is launching its Minibus Grant Program.

The Gattyán Foundation aims to provide an opportunity through this grant that supports children in state care by improving their daily lives and helping them progress socially and culturally. Based on recent years’ experience, one of the most significant shortages faced by child protection institutions is the lack of adequate and sufficient vehicles. This limitation severely restricts children’s access to education, healthcare, and leisure activities.

The goal of the grant is to reduce these disadvantages by providing each selected children’s home with a new, safe, and spacious minibus for indefinite use. The vehicle will contribute to improving the children’s life opportunities and help them gain experiences that may positively influence their future.

Although fundraising for a minibus began last Christmas, thanks to the generosity of our Founder, we are now able to make a truly substantial contribution. As part of the grant program, we will support child protection institutions with a total of eight new 9-seater Ford Transit minibuses.
