Drug Prevention and Sexual Education Training Day – May 2025

For the first time this year, alongside our regular professional training sessions, we organized a combined training day focusing on two particularly important topics. In early May, we held the Drug Prevention and Sexual Education Training Day, with 70 children’s home staff members attending from institutions across the country.

The first lecture of this much-needed training day focused on drug prevention, led by Dániel Varga, who has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field. The presentation touched on many crucial aspects, which participants had the opportunity to explore further during the professional roundtable discussion that followed.

After a strong and thought-provoking morning session, the lunch break offered a moment of rest, and the afternoon continued with the topic of sexual education. The SzexEd team, made up of dedicated sexual psychologists, works to bring their educational workshops to as many learning and childcare institutions as possible. They opened the afternoon with a brief introductory lecture, after which participants joined small-group, hands-on training sessions to deepen their understanding.

Participants unanimously found the full-day training highly valuable. According to their feedback, they gained knowledge and practical tools that they can meaningfully apply in their everyday work.
